Walked in there with ratty shoes. I had an ankle brace on. I walked out of there with shoes that supported my feet without the brace. This man helped me find an amazing pair of shoes to invest in. Very happy with the customer service and a bonus is I now have a really nice pair of shoes.

Great service, knowledgeable staff, and have the sizes needed in stock. They have a good selection of kids, casual, athletic, and dress shoes. They are very fair on price as well. I have been visiting this store for the past 3 years for shoes for my family, and every time I am pleased with the outcome.

Got an email 18 hours before my new job started that I needed safety shoes. These guys are amazing, fit my foot perfectly with a very comfortable light weight work boot giving me many options for future comfort once I find my needs. So impressed with the knowledge and detail. I walked in with Irish setters on my feet and instead of up selling me I was given a great boot I could afford just prior to starting my new job. Impressed with the services offered at Burkhartzmeyer Shoes! My youngest two children were fitted today by a kind saleswoman. (My kids all have bunions, so properly-fitted shoes are a must.) The prices were reasonable, too. Burkartzmeyer Shoes gained several new life-long customers today. Definitely worth the drive from New Ulm! They also can customize shoes per doctor's orders, which is probably in my children's future. I'm so glad a family-owned business like this still exists, and outside the metro! This is quite simply the best shoe store in the TC area. If you have hard-to-fit feet or are just looking for a hard-to-find style to try on then head for this store and save time and money. They are worth the trip. No one else is even close. Called every store in the TC looking for shoes and none--zero--had my size. This store had six shoes to try. If you are tired of twenty-somethings at some mall store more interested in playing with their phones than serving customers then come to this store because the people here know their shoes and know the meaning of service. If you think you might get a better deal online, remember you could end up with factory seconds, knock-offs, or rejects and then have to send them back or sit on hold with customer service in Timbuktu. These people stand behind what they sell. In these days that is priceless. - Henry

I'm from a neighboring town & have never been to this store until today. I walked in, there was 2 gals working. One approached & helped me right away. She helped me with many different styles and asked all the right questions, was super nice with a great knowledge of the brands. I kept her busy for about 2 hours. While she was helping me the other gal shortened a pair of way to long shoe laces for me. I actually went home with 4 pair of shoes!! I'd say a great selection of styles for the season & good prices. Most important though " Great customer Service". I'll definitely be going back! - Kathleen
